Uses of Tranexamic Acid Injection

Xiama Injection is a combination of Tranexamic Acid which is used in the treatment of heavy bleeding. In order to stop persistent bleeding, tranexamic acid works by delaying the dissolution of blood clots. It belongs to a group of medications called antifibrinolytics. A hormone is not tranexamic acid. It does not address other premenstrual or menstrual problems. It doesn’t make your menstruation stop. It does not serve as a method of birth control or offer protection against STDs.  

Tranexamic Acid Injection is used in the treatment of excessive and abnormal bleeding. It reduces the bleeding by preventing the rapid breakdown of blood clots. It works by controlling the body’s natural tendency to break down blood clots. It prevents plasmin from acting and releasing, which is an enzyme necessary for dissolving blood clots. This result aids in slowing the irregular bleeding. 

Directions and Precautions 

Tranexamic Acid Injection is only given by a doctor or nurse into a vein as an intravenous injection. The dose of this medication is only prescribed by your doctor by analyzing your medical condition, weight, and age. Tranexamic Acid Injection is not recommended for patients who have kidney impairment, blood clotting disorder, and a history of seizures. It is not recommended for the first trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding women. Before taking this injection, tell your doctor if you have seen blood in your urine. Also, inform your doctor if you are allergic to Tranexamic Acid or if you have other allergies.
