Description

Xiama Injection is a combination of Tranexamic Acid which is used in the treatment of heavy bleeding. To stop persistent bleeding, tranexamic acid works by delaying the dissolution of blood clots. Tranexamic Acid injection comes under the category of antifibrinolytics. A hormone is not tranexamic acid. It does not address other premenstrual or menstrual problems. It doesn’t make your menstruation stop. It does not serve as a method of birth control or offer protection against STDs.

  • Tranexamic Acid Injection is only given by a doctor or nurse into a vein as an intravenous injection.
  • The dose of this medication is only prescribed by your doctor by analyzing your medical condition, weight, and age.
  • Tranexamic Acid Injection is not recommended for patients who have kidney impairment, blood clotting disorder, and a history of seizures.
  • It is not recommended for the first trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding women.
  • Before taking this injection, tell your doctor if you have seen blood in your urine.
  • Also, inform your doctor if you are allergic to Tranexamic Acid or if you have other allergies.
